Horses with a greater purpose

Challenge Ranch horses are very special horses, and fulfill a greater purpose here at the ranch.  These horses play a significant role in helping underprivileged children bounce back from less fortunate circumstances to enjoy life to its fullest.  At Challenge Ranch, we strive to provide inspiration and support for our special riders by teaching responsibility, compasion and independence all while providing a fun, safe, home away from home environment.

So as you can imagine these special horses mean the world to our Challenge Ranch riders. On average the kids at Challenge Ranch help care for approximately 25-28 horses, who were primarily donated to the Ranch from horse lovers who have rescued and horse owners who understand what an impact Challenge Ranch is making on San Diego's youth, and want their horses to live out the rest of their lives making a difference.  These horses are loved unconditionally and give love in return to the our ranch riders.

Please consider a monthly donation to help care for these amazing horses

so that they can continue to give back, love & support our San Diego's youth.
